Caesaro med Preisel-Caps D-Mannose Capsules, 100 ST

Caesaro med Preisel-Caps D-Mannose capsules are a dietary supplement designed to help with cystitis.

D-mannose is a natural sugar found in small quantities in fruit and certain types of berries. It also occurs naturally in the urinary tract, where it helps to protect the body against harmful bacteria.

The typical triggers of a urinary tract infection – E. coli bacteria – are thus prevented, together with the proanthocyanidins in the cranberry extract, from adhering to the bladder wall. The bacteria are therefore unable to settle and are flushed out of the urinary tract with the urine.

This synergy between the two active ingredients can be beneficial both in acute cases – that is, when the first warning signs such as a burning sensation, a strong urge to urinate or a change in odour are felt – and in cases where cranberry extract alone has not provided sufficient protection during long-term use.

Directions for use

• 5 capsules daily: take 1–2 capsules at intervals throughout the day to reach a total of 5 capsules daily.
• If you have difficulty swallowing or general problems with the gastric tolerance of tablets or capsules, the contents of the capsule can also be taken with other foods (e.g. stirred into yoghurt or muesli) or mixed into tube feed.
