The CINGAL® prefilled syringe is a medical device for use in the relief of osteoarthritis pain by a single injection combining corticosteroids and hyaluronic acid.

Cingal® is the first and only CE-marked combination product to offer the benefits of cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) and a fast-acting steroid. Cingal is a powerful single injection treatment that combines Anika's proprietary HA formulation with a corticosteroid to effectively treat the symptoms associated with osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee and provide rapid pain relief that lasts up to 6 months.

How to use

• Cingal is a simple injection that can be conveniently administered in a doctor's surgery. The doctor injects Cingal directly into the knee joint space, where it binds with the synovial fluid and relieves the pain of osteoarthritis in the knee.
• Notes: The application may only be carried out by qualified doctors.

Ingredients

• Composition per prefilled syringe (4 ml): 88 mg hyaluronic acid, 18 mg triamcinolone hexacetonide.
• Other ingredients: Water for injection (ambient temperature), dibasic sodium phosphate, monobasic sodium phosphate, monohydrate, polysorbate 80, sorbitol.
