Buscopan® 10 mg coated tablets are a non-prescription medicine containing the active substance: hyoscine-N-butyl bromide. This has an antispasmodic effect on the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract.
Buscopan 10 mg coated tablets are used for mild to moderate cramps, mainly of the gastrointestinal tract. If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 days, consult your doctor.

How to use
- The recommended dose for adults, adolescents and children over 6 years of age is: Take 1 coated tablet as required. You can take 1 coated tablet several times a day; the maximum daily dose should not exceed 6 coated tablets.
- Children under 6 years of age: Buscopan 10 mg coated tablets are not recommended for use in children under 6 years of age due to the high active substance content.
- Route of administration: Oral use: The coated tablets should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid.
- Duration of use: Buscopan 10 mg - Coated Tablets should not be taken for longer than 3 days without medical advice.
Ingredients
- What Buscopan contains: The active substance is: hyoscine-N-butyl bromide. 1 coated tablet contains 10 mg hyoscine-N-butyl bromide.
- The other ingredients are: Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, maize starch, soluble starch, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, tartaric acid, stearic acid, povidone, sucrose, talc, gum arabic, macrogol 6000, carnauba wax, white wax, colour: titanium dioxide (E171).
