The Burnshield wound dressing is a fibreless, elastic and open-cell foam impregnated with sterile Burnshield trauma hydrogel and packaged in a foil pouch.

Dosage form
How to use
- Open the sterile packaging, remove the dressing and place it immediately on the burn.
- Squeeze the remaining hydrogel from the packaging onto the dressing.
- Secure the dressing with a light bandage.
- Notes: It is always advisable to have a medical examination after burns or if you have inhaled smoke. Burnshield products are intended for the initial treatment of scalds and 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns or for immediate physical protection during a fire. Burnshield does not replace medical treatment of burns.
