Burgerstein Q10 lozenges contain 50 mg of natural coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) from gently fermented yeast cells. The lozenges with a natural orange flavour are gentle on the teeth and the coenzyme Q10 is absorbed particularly quickly and efficiently through the oral mucosa.

Coenzyme Q10 is found in the mitochondria (power stations of the cells), in the blood and in the cell membranes.

The oral intake of coenzyme Q10 reduces the prevailing inflammatory processes. It counteracts the formation of deep gum pockets and supports the regeneration process. Supplementary treatment with coenzyme Q10 is therefore an important part of comprehensive periodontitis treatment.
