Biplatrix® rapid plaster bandage is used for the rapid fixation of fresh fractures. Biplatrix® impresses with minimised immersion losses and very good modelling properties.
Rapid fixation is often required for the treatment of fresh fractures in particular. Biplatrix® is the fast plaster bandage of choice for these applications. It is particularly suitable for primary treatment. Biplatrix® is also available as Longette for customised cutting.
Biplatrix® impresses with minimised immersion losses and very good modelling properties. It is easy to process and ensures rapid immobilisation and high final strength, even with just a few layers. Biplatrix® is bright white in colour.
Technical data
- Immersion water temperature: 20°C to 25°C
- Immersion time: bandages approx. 4 seconds, longettes approx. 1.5 seconds
- Open time: approx. 2 minutes
- Load-bearing capacity: partially loadable after 30 minutes, fully loadable after 48 hours
Areas of application:
- For primary and secondary treatment of fractures and other injuries requiring immobilisation.
