Biovolen® Active Resin Ointment is used to treat large-pored skin and blackheads. It is quickly absorbed, non-greasy and leaves the skin feeling smooth.

As the body changes with age, there is often an increased production of sebum. This results in enlarged pores and blackheads.
Tree resin as an active ingredient
The active ingredient is based on mastic, an aromatic resin extracted from a tree on the Greek island of Chios. A newly developed technique has made it possible to formulate a new type of active ingredient for finer-pored skin.
Effect
Biovolen Active Resin Ointment contains an active ingredient based on resin*. If the skin produces a lot of sebum, this clogs and widens the pores. According to in vitro tests, the active ingredient can inhibit an enzyme that is responsible for increased sebum production in the skin. This can regulate sebum production and thus prevent enlarged pores, blackheads and greasy shine.
