Bios prickly pear capsules are a food supplement with cactus flower powder and cactus fruit powder.
The prickly pear belongs to the cactus family (Cactaceae) and bears the prickly pear fruit. In addition to vitamins B1, B2, B3 and C, minerals and trace elements, the fruits also provide the nutrient beta-sitosterol. The flowers and fruits of the prickly pear cactus are particularly rich in beta-sitosterol, which maintains the function of the bladder and prostate. At the same time, the nutrient can prevent age-related enlargement of the prostate in men. Bios prickly pear capsules contain a combination of cactus flower powder, cactus fruit powder and pure vitamin E and are a useful addition to the diet of older men

- Ingredients: Cactus flower powder; bulking agent: mannitol (may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess!); cactus fruit powder Cacti-NeaTM (cactus fruit powder, gum arabic); alpha tocopherol acetate, capsule shell: gelatine; colouring agent in the capsule shell: titanium dioxide.
- Composition per 3 capsules: 600 mg cactus flower powder, 150 mg cactus fruit powder and 18 mg natural vitamin E (150 % NRV*). *NRV = per cent of the recommended daily intake.
