Pycnogenol® is a purely natural plant extract obtained from the bark of the maritime pine (Pinus pinaster) native to the south of France. Pycnogenol® is rich in OPC (oligomeric proanthocyanidins), which belong to the group of flavanols - secondary plant substances. Although these are not vital for the plant itself, they are undoubtedly useful.
OPCs have a very high bioavailability, which means that they are also very well absorbed by the human body and can develop their antioxidant effect. In the Bios Pine Bark Extract 50 mg capsules, these valuable plant substances are ideally dosed and can therefore optimally unfold their antioxidant potential
