Calcium (calcium) is an important mineral in the human organism. It is of great importance for bone density (strength) and for healthy teeth. Calcium also plays an important role in the human metabolism. It is involved in the transmission of stimuli between muscles and nerve cells, intracellular signal transmission, the stabilisation of cell membranes and blood clotting. The element is mainly found in dairy products, spinach leaves and broccoli. Supplementation with calcium has proven to be effective in cases of lactose intolerance or deliberate avoidance of dairy products, for athletes, especially during endurance sports (calcium loss due to heavy sweating), during the menopause and in cases of allergies. The calcium in our capsules is in the form of an orotate. This natural compound facilitates the absorption of calcium into the cells.
