Borage oil is extracted from the seeds of the borage plant (Borango officinalis) and contains mucilage, saponins, tannins and mineral salts. The seeds contain gamma-linolenic acid. It has a particularly beneficial effect on dry skin. The additional vitamin E contained in the capsules helps to protect the body's own cells from oxidative stress. Bios Borage Oil 500 mg capsules contain cold-pressed borage oil from the seeds of the borage plant, which is then gently refined
