Bios bladderwrack capsules are a dietary supplement with iodine-containing bladderwrack. Bladderwrack is technically known as Fucus vesiculosus. The brown algae mainly originate from the French Atlantic off the coast of Brittany.
Bladderwrack is a brown algae that contains bound iodine, bromides, mucilage, alginic acid and polyphenols. Iodine is an essential trace element and is important for the thyroid gland and fat metabolism. It ensures normal thyroid function and is necessary for the production of various thyroid hormones, which are responsible for regulating the heat balance and controlling growth and organ development.
Due to the alginic acid it contains, bladderwrack also has swelling properties that can make you feel full. With its ingredients, bladderwrack is an essential factor in supporting the breakdown of fat. The bladderwrack used comes from wild collection and does not contain any genetically modified organisms
