Bios Vitamin B2 1.6 mg capsules are a food supplement containing vitamin B2 (riboflavin). It contributes to normal energy metabolism, the normal functioning of the nervous system and the maintenance of normal skin.

Vitamin B2 (also known as riboflavin) belongs to the group of water-soluble vitamins. Like the other vitamins in the B complex, vitamin B2 is not stored in the body but must be regularly supplied through diet or by taking additional supplements. It is found in milk, dairy products and eggs, in vegetables such as broccoli, asparagus and spinach, in fish and wholemeal products. Vitamin B2 is an important component of enzymes required for energy metabolism . It also supports reactions involved in the detoxification of foreign substances, such as medicines. 

A deficiency in vitamin B2 can lead to growth disorders, skin conditions and inflammation of the mucous membranes, primarily in the mouth, on the oral mucosa and at the corners of the mouth. Our capsules can help prevent deficiency symptoms.

Adults: Take 1 capsule once daily with liquid.

• Ingredients: Bulking agent: mannitol (may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess !); riboflavin-5-sodium phosphate, anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids, capsule shell: gelatine; colouring agent in the capsule shell: titanium dioxide.
