Bios PPI Gastro Protection Capsules, 100 ST

Bios PPI Gastro Protection Capsules are a dietary supplement containing magnesium, iron, vitamin B6, folic acid, vitamin B12 and vitamin D3.

Drugs to reduce gastric acidity, so-called proton pump inhibitors (=PPI), upset the balance of micronutrients. For example, by shifting the pH value in the stomach from acidic to alkaline, the release of vitamin B12 from the food is prevented. This in turn means that vitamin B12 cannot be absorbed in the small intestine. Magnesium, calcium, iron and vitamin D deficiencies are also caused by this pH shift. The consequences are disturbances in vascular and bone metabolism, as well as increased homocysteine levels. Our capsules are used as micronutrient supplements when taking proton pump inhibitors.

Adults: Take 1 x 1 capsule daily with liquid.

Ingredients

• Ingredients: Magnesium citrate, magnesium oxide, ferrous bisglycinate, pyridoxine HCl, colecalciferol (microcrystalline cellulose, vitamin D3), folic acid, methylcobalamin, capsule shell: cellulose.
• Composition per daily dose (1 capsule) %NRV*: 105 mg magnesium (28 % NRV*), 25 mg iron (178 % NRV*), 25 mg vitamin B6 (1785 % NRV*), 600 μg folic acid (300 % NRV*), 300 μg vitamin B12 (12000 % NRV*) and 20 μg vitamin D3 (100 % NRV*) *NRV = per cent of the recommended daily intake.
