Bios Ornithine / Tryptophan 1:1 Capsules are a food supplement containing the amino acids L-ornithine and L-tryptophan.

Ornithine / Tryptophan Bios Capsules combine the important properties of two amino acids that play an important role in human metabolism. L-ornithine is an intermediate product of the urea cycle and is formed from L-arginine. It is involved in the conversion of ammonia - a waste product of digestion - into urea, which is then excreted in the urine. An overloaded liver can no longer break down this nitrogen compound effectively, so that it can penetrate unhindered into the brain and trigger serious reactions there. L-ornithine is also a precursor for the synthesis of polyamines, which are important for cell division and for the formation of DNA, proteins and blood vessels. It promotes a good night's sleep, especially in the case of reduced liver function, which is often the cause of waking up at night.

The essential amino acid L-tryptophan is the physiological precursor of melatonin, a substance that controls the day-night rhythm, and serotonin, a neurotransmitter that influences our emotional life. Both amino acids are obtained purely by fermentation and are contained in L-Ornithine / L-Tryptophan Bios Capsules in equal proportions.
