Bios L-Ornithine / L-Arginine Capsules are a dietary supplement containing the amino acids L-ornithine and L-arginine capsules.

The amino acid complex L-ornithine / L-arginine 1:2 Bios Capsules contains the basic amino acids L-ornithine and L-arginine, which are closely related to each other. L-ornithine is formed directly from L-arginine in the urea cycle. As both amino acids utilise the same transport system at the cell membrane, the entry of each individual component into the cells is slowed down and L-arginine and L-ornithine remain in the bloodstream for longer, where they are fully available. Together they regulate the release of various messenger substances, such as HGH, which is produced in the pituitary gland in the brain and is responsible for cell growth and differentiation. One of the tasks of this substance is to promote muscle growth and increase the breakdown of fat to provide energy.

As a booster, L-arginine is mainly used by athletes to build up strength for a visible training effect. However, this combination preparation can also be of interest to non-athletes: Another function of these basic amino acids is the conversion of digestive waste products so that they can be excreted as urea in the urine.
