Bios L-Glutamic Acid 400 mg Capsules are a food supplement containing the amino acid L-glutamic acid.

L-glutamic acid is an amino acid that is not essential for us humans, as the body can produce it itself. The amino acid is found in almost all proteins and is therefore also present in all protein-containing foods. Fish, parmesan, tomatoes and soya are particularly high in glutamic acid. The salts of glutamic acid are known as glutamates. Glutamic acid can bind the toxic decomposition product ammonia in the body and forms the very similar amino acid L-glutamine.

L-glutamic acid and L-glutamine are important energy sources in the immune system and in the energy metabolism of the muscles. Adults: Take 2 x 1 capsule daily with liquid after a main meal at least 3 hours before going to bed.

• Ingredients: L-glutamic acid, capsule shell: gelatine; colours in the capsule shell: titanium dioxide, iron oxide, Ponceau 4 R, quinoline yellow, patent blue V (may impair activity and attention in children!).
• Composition per daily dose (2 capsules): 800 mg L-glutamic acid.
