L-glutamic acid is an amino acid that is non-essential for humans, as the body can produce it itself. The amino acid is found in almost all proteins and is therefore also present in all protein-rich foods. Fish, Parmesan, tomatoes and soya are particularly rich in glutamic acid are found in fish, Parmesan, tomatoes and soya. The salts of glutamic acid are known as glutamates. Glutamic acid can bind the toxic breakdown product ammonia in the body, thereby forming the very similar amino acid L-glutamine.

- Ingredients: L-glutamic acid, capsule shell: gelatine; colouring agents in the capsule shell: titanium dioxide, iron oxide, Ponceau 4R, quinoline yellow, Patent Blue V (May have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children!).
