Kombucha is a fermented drink from the Far East that is produced using kombucha cultures from sugared tea (Camellia sinensis; tea plant) as the starting product. The kombucha cultures consist of a mixture of yeasts and acetic acid bacteria, which process the added sugar during the fermentation process and produce valuable metabolic products that pass into the tea. The result is a drink that is rich in acids such as glucuronic acid, gluconic acid, acetic acid, lactic acid and usnic acid and also contains many vitamins and minerals. This benefits the intestines, skin, metabolism and the body's defences in general.

Kombucha Bios capsules contain the dry extract of Kombucha tea with a guaranteed content of at least 20 % polyphenols. The capsules also contain vitamin C, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system, normal energy metabolism, the protection of cells from oxidative stress and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
