Bios Inulin 420 mg capsules are a food supplement containing inulin (prebiotic). Inulin is extracted through a natural process from the roots of chicory. Chicory is a soluble dietary fibre from the fructan group.
Inulin is a natural product produced by plants. They use it as an energy store that can be recycled when required. Inulin is mainly obtained from chicory root, Jerusalem artichokes and black salsify. We humans do not obtain any energy from inulin as we lack the right enzyme to break it down. For us, it is a dietary fibre that leaves our body almost undigested. As a prebiotic, however, it serves as food for our intestinal bacteria and can therefore help to build up healthy intestinal flora. Today's diet usually contains far too few foods with prebiotic properties.
As a result, the beneficial intestinal bacteria are becoming weaker and fewer. Bios Inulin 420 mg capsules contain inulin from the chicory root and can provide intestinal bacteria with sufficient nourishment to prevent harmful processes
