Bios Grape Seed Extract Capsules are a dietary supplement containing MegaNatural®-BP, a standardised grape seed extract. Grape seed extract, also known as OPC, is a powerful antioxidant obtained from grape seeds.

Oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC for short) are natural plant compounds that belong to the group of flavanols. The seeds of the red grape (Vitis vinifera) in particular are a rich source of these secondary plant substances. OPC is characterised by its extremely high antioxidant activity, which effectively neutralises reactive oxygen species. Its antioxidant capacity is around 20 times stronger than that of vitamin C. Antioxidants protect the eye in particular from premature ageing. OPC is involved in stabilising the collagen matrix, a substance found in the basal lamina and the lens of our eyes. In addition, OPC promotes the microcirculation of the capillaries and thus strengthens the vascular walls. Grape seed extract Bios capsules contain the patented grape seed extract MegaNatural®-BP. This is standardised to a polyphenol content of 94.6 % and has a particularly high bioavailability. The absorption rate of the human body is therefore very efficient
