Bios Glucosamine Sulphate Plus Capsules are a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) for the dietary management of joint wear and tear.

Unrestricted mobility is a factor in quality of life. Healthy cartilage is a prerequisite for this. In addition to glucosamine sulphate, Glucosamine Sulphate Plus Bios Capsules also contain rosemary leaf extract, the trace elements selenium, zinc and manganese, as well as vitamins C, B1, B2, B6, B9 (folic acid) and vitamin B12. Glucosamine, a precursor of hyaluronic acid, is a substance produced naturally in the body and serves as a basic building material for cartilage, tendons, ligaments and bones due to its high structural viscosity. Glucosamine is also essential for connective tissue and skin, as it ensures suppleness, resilience, elasticity and resistance. However, the body's own glucosamine production often decreases with age.

This is accompanied by a decrease in the water content in the cartilage. This results in an impairment of the cartilage's buffer function against shocks and vibrations. Manganese contributes to the normal formation of connective tissue and the maintenance of normal bones. Selenium contributes to the maintenance of normal hair. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, teeth and gums, as well as the normal function of the skin.
