Bios Glucosamine Sulphate + MSM 1:1 Capsules are a food supplement containing glucosamine sulphate and methyl sulphonyl methane (MSM). Glucosamine sulphate 2 KCl is obtained from crab shells and is of pharmaceutical quality. MSM is produced synthetically.

Glucosamine sulphate and methyl sulphonyl methane (MSM for short) are compounds that occur naturally in the human body.

• Glucosamine, a precursor of hyaluronic acid, is a substance produced naturally in the body and serves as a basic building material for cartilage, tendons, ligaments and bones due to its high structural viscosity. Glucosamine is also essential for connective tissue and skin. However, the body's own glucosamine production often decreases with age. This is accompanied by a decrease in the water content in the cartilage. This results in an impairment of the cartilage's buffer function against shocks and vibrations.
• MSM is an organically available sulphur compound. This mineral is involved in a number of metabolic processes in our body. As a central component of many amino acids and proteins, it is also required in large quantities for collagen and is therefore an essential element for connective tissue and cartilage. Sulphur is constantly needed in synovial fluid, but also in cartilage tissue, as these structures are constantly being renewed.
