Glucosamine is also essential for connective tissue and skin, as it ensures suppleness, resilience, elasticity and resistance. However, the body's own glucosamine production often decreases with age. This is accompanied by a decrease in the water content in the cartilage. This results in an impairment of the cartilage's buffer function against shocks and vibrations. The glucosamine sulphate contained in the product is of plant origin and is obtained by fermentation
