Bios’ Chromium Chelate 100 mcg capsules are a food supplement which contribute to the normal metabolism of macronutrients and help maintain normal blood sugar levels.
Chromium is one of the essential trace elements. It is found
primarily in meat products, brewer’s yeast and wholemeal products
. Chromium plays a role in stabilising
blood sugar levels, which may help to reduce
cravings. It is also involved in fat metabolism
and can have a positive effect
on blood lipid levels. A chromium supplement may
be beneficial for people with diabetes, those on a high-carbohydrate diet with a low
wholegrain content, and for people with an elevated
metabolism (e.g. endurance athletes).
As both the body’s ability to absorb
and its capacity to store chromium decrease with age,
supplementation may also be beneficial
for older people. In our
capsules, this trace element is present in the form of a chelate. This allows it to reach
the gut intact and be absorbed into the body via specialised
transport systems.

Adults: Take 1 capsule once daily with liquid.
Ingredients
- Ingredients: Bulking agent: mannitol (may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess !); chromium nicotinate glycinate (cellulose, chromium nicotinate glycinate, maltodextrin), anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids. Capsule shell: gelatine; colouring agent in the capsule shell: titanium dioxide.
