Bios Chromium 200 mcg capsules are a food supplement which contribute to the normal metabolism of macronutrients and help maintain normal blood sugar levels.
Chromium is one of the essential trace elements.
Meat products, brewer’s yeast and wholemeal products, in particular,
contain chromium. Chromium plays a role in stabilising
blood sugar levels, which may help to reduce
cravings. It is also involved in fat metabolism
and can have a positive effect
on blood lipid levels. A chromium supplement may
be beneficial for people with diabetes, those on a high-carbohydrate diet with a low
wholegrain content, and for people with an elevated
metabolism (e.g. endurance athletes).
As both the body’s ability to absorb
and its capacity to store chromium decrease with age,
supplementation may also be beneficial
for older people.

Directions for use
Adults: Take 1 capsule once daily with liquid.
Ingredients
- Ingredients: Bulking agent: mannitol (may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess !); Anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids; chromium(III) chloride. Capsule shell: gelatine; colouring agents in the capsule shell: brilliant blue FCF, allura red AC (may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children !), titanium dioxide.
- Composition per daily dose (1 capsule): 200 μg chromium (500 % NRV*). *NRV = Percentage of the recommended daily intake.
