Bios Carnosine 250 mg capsules are a dietary supplement containing the dipeptide L-carnosine, made up of the amino acids β-alanine and L-histidine.
L-carnosine is a natural, endogenous substance that is particularly abundant in muscle and nerve cells, but also in the heart muscle, kidneys, liver, brain and other organs. L-carnosine is made up of the two amino acids L-alanine and L-histidine. It has the remarkable property of rejuvenating cells, restoring their normal appearance and extending cellular lifespan. As an antioxidant, L-carnosine neutralises harmful free radicals in the body. It is also known as a neuropeptide due to its pronounced protective effects on our brain. Unfortunately, our L-carnosine levels decrease with age. Although L-carnosine occurs naturally in meat, for example, these levels are relatively low. Supplementing with Carnosine 250 mg Bios Capsules can prevent a carnosine deficiency.
