Arginine pyroglutamate is composed of the two amino acids arginine and glutamic acid and occurs naturally in the human body. This dipeptide is a natural source for the production of growth hormones (HGH), known as peptide hormones, which are produced in the pituitary gland in the brain and are responsible for cell growth and differentiation. One function of these hormones is to promote muscle growth and increase fat breakdown to provide energy.
