- D-mannose: D-mannose is a natural bioactive monosaccharide that is found in small quantities in fruits and berries (such as apples, pineapples and cranberries). Small amounts of D-mannose also occur naturally in the human body, including in the urinary tract.
- Cranberry fruit: The cranberry fruit contains many important ingredients, such as the secondary plant constituents proanthocyanidins (PAC).
- In addition, UroAkut® vegan granules contain vitamin B3, vitamin C and vitamin D3: Vitamin B3 (niacin) contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes (including those of the urinary tract). Vitamin C and D contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin C also helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.
Dosage form
Directions for use
- Persons aged 12 years and over: Take 1 sachet in the morning and 1 sachet in the evening with plenty of water.
- Children from 4-11 years: Consult a doctor before use. If recommended, take one sachet daily before going to bed. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
- Instructions for preparation: Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a glass of water (approx. 200 ml) and drink slowly. UroAkut® vegan granules dissolve immediately and can be taken as a hot or cold drink. In some cases, the urine may have an intense odour after the first dose. Higher doses of D-Mannose may have a slightly laxative effect if taken repeatedly.
- Information for diabetics: 0.3 BE/sachet.
- Information for people with intolerances: The product is free from animal ingredients and categorised as vegan according to the Vegan Society Austria. UroAkut® vegan granules do not contain any raw materials derived from grain and are therefore suitable for a gluten-free diet. Furthermore, all ingredients are free from milk components, making UroAkut® vegan granules lactose-free. The product contains no preservatives.
