Why Gluten REDUX
Gluten is a protein found in wheat, rye and barley (and used in the production of biscuits, pasta and bread). It is too large for the body to break down and can cause digestive problems in many people, as it inflames the small intestine. As a result, the intestinal wall becomes weak and permeable, allowing unwanted substances to enter our system (also known as ‘leaky gut’). The result is a vicious cycle of leaky gut ⟺ gastrointestinal effects associated with the consumption of foods containing gluten.
Gluten intolerance, or non-coeliac gluten sensitivity, is not easy to diagnose. The only remedy is a GLUTEN-FREE DIET (GFD). This diet is effective, but:

Science
Using our IQB technology, we have specifically selected Bifidobacterium longum IQB 2901 and Bifidobacterium breve IQB 0611 for their ability to mitigate the gut response to gluten exposure. Lactobacillus rhamnosus IQB 2911 is known to improve the integrity of the gut barrier and maintain gut balance. The gluten enzyme Tolerase® G will help break down gluten proteins into smaller fragments in the gut. Tolerance levels in people sensitive to gluten can be increased, and their reactions to accidental gluten exposure can be better managed.

Gluten REDUX Mechanism of Action
When consuming foods containing gluten:
- The gluten enzyme Tolerase® G, with the help of EGCG from green tea, helps to break down the gluten proteins in the gut into smaller fragments.
- In vitro studies have shown that epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) sequesters gluten and binds to it.
- The Bioceutical™ complex, comprising Bifidobacterium breve IQB 0611, Bifidobacterium longum IQB 2901 and Lactobacillus rhamnosus IQB 2911, maintains the balance of the microbiome.
- This microbiotic blend supports the intestinal barrier.
- EGCG, palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) and the microbiotics support gut balance.

The ingredients
Unique Bioceutical™ Complex as a multi-target approach to alleviating gluten intolerance:
- Microbiotic strains: Bifidobacterium breve IQB 0611, Bifidobacterium longum IQB 2901 and Lactobacillus rhamnosus IQB 2911. Scientifically proven to regulate the immune response and improve the integrity of the intestinal mucosa and the intestinal barrier.

- Calcium: an important mineral in the body that supports the normal function of digestive enzymes. The food you eat is digested properly and nutrients are better absorbed.
- PEA: Palmitoylethanolamide. A fatty substance naturally present in the body that is activated as a natural anti-inflammatory defence mechanism. PEA helps to dampen the immune response in the gut.
- Vitamins A and D (vegan) are essential fat-soluble vitamins that have a positive effect on the immune system and help prevent nutrient deficiencies that can occur during a gluten-free diet.
