Biatain® Silicone Non-Border Foam Dressing is a highly absorbent dressing for the treatment of various wounds. It promotes healing and protects the wound from infection. 

Biatain Silicone Non-Border Foam Dressing combines the proven 3DFit® technology of Biatain foam with full-surface silicone adhesion without an adhesive border. The gentle, perforated silicone adhesive covers the entire surface of the dressing, thereby providing a secure hold without sticking to the wound. The semi-permeable, bacteria-resistant top film protects the wound from the outside. The dressing features a 3-part application film for easy and aseptic application. 

The unique 3DFit technology

Upon contact with wound exudate, the foam with 3DFit technology bulges towards the wound bed, preventing the accumulation of wound exudate before it occurs. The micro-capillary foam structure absorbs the wound exudate vertically, thereby ensuring optimal conditions for healing. The wound exudate is now safely contained within the dressing, even under compression, which reduces the risk of leakage and maceration of the wound edges and the surrounding skin.

Indications 

• Indicated for a wide range of wounds with low to high exudate levels in patients weighing 40 kg or more
• Including acute wounds such as split-thickness skin graft sites, post-operative wounds and traumatic wounds, as well as chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and non-infected diabetic foot syndrome
• Can be used in combination with compression therapy
