What is BabyBene® Gel?
BabyBene® Gel is a unique formula that contains valuable natural oils (olive and jojoba oil) and is used to remove dandruff caused by cradle cap or scalp gneiss.
The nourishing oils gently loosen the skin flakes and crusts and soothe the scalp. With BabyBene® Gel, annoying dandruff and crusts can be completely and easily removed from the baby's scalp in a natural way.
How does BabyBene® Gel work?
BabyBene® Gel can be applied exactly where it is needed. The oils it contains soften the sebaceous scales and loosen them from the scalp according to the principle of "like dissolves in like". If a few drops of water are added, the gel turns into a thin emulsion that can be easily washed off together with the loosened dandruff and crusts.
BabyBene® Gel is safe - and better than olive oil
The effectiveness of BabyBene® Gel was compared with that of conventional olive oil in a new study. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of BabyBene® Gel for removing dandruff is not only clearly superior to that of olive oil, but that BabyBene® also achieves 100% success in application (olive oil only 26% success)1. In addition, the parents and test physicians were convinced by BabyBene® Gel and rated it as "very good".
The difference between cradle cap and scalp gneiss
- The colloquial term "cradle cap" refers to two different scaly skin conditions in infants: the more common cradle cap and the less common true cradle cap. In the case of cradle cap, soft, sebaceous scales appear in the first few weeks of life. Cradle cap with much harder scales and crusts often only appears after the third month of life. The skin may itch unpleasantly. Cradle cap may develop into atopic dermatitis over time.
- In contrast, scalp urticaria usually disappears within the first year of life. Nevertheless, many parents would like to have a way to remove the dandruff earlier. BabyBene® Gel offers parents a very gentle and simple solution.
BabyBene® Gel properties
- Effectively removes incrustations and dandruff
- Easy to use with no greasy residue
- 100% application success confirmed
How to use
- BabyBene® Gel is applied to dry skin with dry fingers. The gel should completely cover the affected areas. Leave on for 30 minutes. A few drops of water are then applied to the softened scales. This creates a milky emulsion that can be rinsed off with lukewarm water and, if necessary, with the help of a sponge.
- If the head is hairy, a child's comb with rounded teeth can be used to comb out the dandruff. After rinsing with water, the baby's scalp is left dandruff-free and well-groomed.
- In the case of stubborn dandruff, the treatment can be repeated on the following days without hesitation. BabyBene® Gel can be used from the third week of life
- BabyBeneGel gently and painlessly removes sebum-induced dandruff crusts on the scalp. It cares for the skin naturally as soon as it is applied
