Health-promoting ingredients of the cranberry

The cranberry fruit contains many health-promoting ingredients, such as the secondary plant substances proanthocyanidins, which can contribute to maintaining a healthy urinary tract. BIOGELAT® Cranberry UroForte contains 36mg proanthocyanidins (PAC) as a daily recommendation. Cranberry should not be confused with the related cranberry.

Active ingredients:

• Proanthocyanidins (PAC) are secondary plant substances. Cranberries, for example, contain a high level of proanthocyanidins.
• Vitamin C plays an important role in the destruction of so-called "free radicals" and in the formation of connective tissue. In the case of broken bones and wounds, vitamin C can lead to faster recovery. It also improves the absorption of iron.
• Oxidative stress, caused by so-called "free radicals", is held responsible for the development of degenerative ageing processes, vascular calcification (atherosclerosis), various cardiovascular diseases and obviously also plays a decisive role in the development of inflammatory joint diseases. "Free radicals" are produced during various immune reactions, during inflammatory processes and increasingly also through harmful environmental influences, stress, and alcohol and cigarette consumption.
• Vitamin E has an important protective function in the human organism through its ability to intercept and inactivate so-called "free radicals" (= unstable, highly active atoms or molecules). These free radicals are increasingly produced by harmful environmental pollution, stress, but also by increased alcohol and cigarette consumption.

How to use

• Take 1 film-coated tablet daily with a little liquid with a meal.
• In addition, ensure that you drink a sufficient amount of liquid totalling 1.5 to 2 litres per day.
• Suitable for children from 4 years of age, adolescents and pregnant women.
• The use of BIOGELAT® UroForte Cranberry Granules or BIOGELAT® UroForte Cranberry Liquidum is recommended for children and people who have difficulty swallowing tablets.
