BERICARD drops, 50 ml

Bericard drops contain a liquid extract of hawthorn leaves with flowers. Hawthorn is probably an outstanding medicinal plant, and hawthorn preparations made from the leaves and flowers have a long tradition. Hawthorn is traditionally used to support the heart.

Bericard is used to support cardiovascular function when the heart's performance begins to deteriorate with symptoms such as fatigue and tiredness on exertion. The use of this traditional herbal medicinal product in this area of application is based exclusively on many years of use.

• The recommended dose for adults is 15 to 20 drops 2 - 3 times a day.
• Use in children and adolescents As there is insufficient data available, use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended.

Method of administration:

Bericard drops are taken undiluted, on sugar or diluted with a little water. The effect can be improved by keeping the drops in the mouth for some time. Shake the bottle before use!

Ingredients

The active ingredient is: Hawthorn leaves with flowers - liquid extract 100 g contain 24 g quantified liquid extract of hawthorn leaves with flowers (drug-extract ratio 1:1; extractant: ethanol 45 vol.%). The other ingredients are: Ethanol, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (E216), methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (E218), sucrose and purified water. 1 ml = 0.99 g. 1 ml contains 0.27 g ethanol. Alcohol content: 26.9 % by weight = 32.7 % by volume 1 ml corresponds to approx. 20 drops.
