Azulenal solution - Guaiazulene is a natural active ingredient with strong anti-inflammatory and healing properties.

Azulenal solution helps with acute and chronic inflammation of the stomach mucosa and gastric and duodenal ulcers. For better gastric tolerance when taking p-aminosalicylic acid (PAS) and sulphonamide preparations, urinary bladder inflammation and urinary bladder neurosis, colitis, inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth (gingivitis), nose and throat (tonsillitis), sinuses and ear (otitis media). Inflamed and suppurating wounds of the external skin. For allergic inflammations such as hay fever to decongest mucous membranes, inflammatory-allergic skin diseases, etc., rolling cure.

The natural ingredient guaiazulene helps to inhibit inflammation and promotes healing. Guaiazulene supports a sustained and even release of histamine. This leads to a desensitisation of the allergic organism to histamine. The good efficacy and tolerability of the product should be particularly emphasised. The good fat solubility of guaiazulene facilitates its absorption through the mucous membranes.

How to use

AZULENAL solution is suitable for ingestion or instillation, for rinsing and instillation treatment, for brushing and dabbing.

The usual dosage is

• Gastritis: 5-10 drops 1-3 times a day in half a glass of lukewarm water. Very good results are achieved with an AZULENAL rolling cure; for detailed instructions, see "Rolling cure".
• Urinary bladder inflammation (cystitis) and urinary bladder neurosis: irrigation or instillation treatment with dilutions between 1:200 and 1:500. Inflammation of the colon (ulcerative colitis): 1-3 enemas of 250 ccm each of a 1:500 to 1:1000 diluted AZULENAL solution daily.
• Nose: 1-2 drops 3 times a day.
• Throat: Rinse with 5-10 drops in 1 tablespoon of liquid. Brush with undiluted AZULENAL solution.
• Sinusitis: Dilute 1:200.
• Wounds, skin: dab several times a day.
• Rolling cure: Add 8-10 drops of AZULENAL solution to half a glass of lukewarm water or milk and drink in the morning before getting up, then remain in bed for 20 minutes, lying on your back, left side, stomach and right side for 5 minutes each. This should be repeated in the afternoon if necessary. Patients who have had stomach surgery should not take half a glass of water with AZULENAL solution all at once, but should take it in 4 portions at 5-minute intervals during the rolling treatment period (20 minutes). The rolling cure is extended to 14 days and should not be discontinued, even if a subjective feeling of well-being should already appear after a few days.
