As organic compounds, vitamins are essential for many metabolic processes. Minerals, which also include electrolytes as inorganic substances, also fulfil this function. The most important electrolytes in the human body include potassium and magnesium. They must be taken in with food. Avitale HEART INTAKT tablets contain potassium and magnesium in a specially harmonised ratio, combined with B vitamins and the coenzyme Q10.

They support the organism in the following processes:

• Potassium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood pressure. It also supports the normal function of the nervous system and contributes to normal muscle function.
• Magnesium is helpful for normal protein synthesis and electrolyte balance. It contributes to normal mental function and to the normal function of the nervous system. Like niacin and vitamin B12, it favours a functioning, normal energy metabolism.
• Vitamin B1 has an important function for heart health and contributes to normal heart function. Folic acid is an essential vitamin that the body cannot produce itself.
• Folic acid contributes to haematopoiesis and, together with vitamin B12 and magnesium, plays an important role in cell division.
• Vitamin B12 promotes the formation of red blood cells and, like folic acid, contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism.
• The vitamins niacin and B12 contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
• Q10 or ubiquinone is an endogenous coenzyme that the body synthesises itself but also absorbs in small quantities from food. Coenzyme Q10 is present in every cell of the body in the mitochondria.

How to use

• Take 2 tablets in the morning and 2 tablets in the evening approx. ½ to 1 hour before or at least 2 hours after a meal, without chewing, with plenty of water.
• Advice: People with kidney dysfunction should consult their doctor before taking this medicine. This also applies if you are taking medicines that reduce potassium excretion at the same time.

• Ingredients: Potassium chloride, bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose; trimagnesium dicitrate, magnesium oxide, glazing agent: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyethylene glycol, rice starch, sugar esters of fatty acids, microcrystalline cellulose, colours: Iron oxide yellow and iron oxide red; coenzyme Q10, nicotinamide (niacin), anti-caking agents: tricalcium phosphate and calcium salts of fatty acids (vegetable); thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1), pteroylmonoglutamic acid (folic acid), methylcobalamin (vitamin B12).
