Product information "Atrauman® Silicone silicone wound contact layer, sterile 7.5 x 10 cm"
Atrauman® Silicone is a sterile silicone wound contact layer that is used for the atraumatic treatment of acute and chronic wounds. The silicone coating adheres gently to dry skin and does not stick to the wound.
Maximum protection for sensitive structures - even with demanding negative pressure wound therapy
Atrauman Silicone is a wound contact layer consisting of a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) mesh as the carrier material, which is coated on both sides with silicone gel (based on polydimethylsiloxane). This wound contact layer is used for atraumatic wound treatment and is thin, soft, cuttable and drapable. The open mesh structure makes it permeable to exudate. It adheres gently and securely to dry surfaces, but not to moist surfaces. This prevents it from sticking to the wound.
Atrauman Silicone is a wound contact layer that:
- Used in the treatment of superficial acute and chronic, slightly to moderately exuding wounds of all types
- Used as a protective layer on non-exuding wounds and on areas with sensitive skin
- To be used in conjunction with the Vivano Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System
