Askina® Heel is a unique anatomically moulded heel bandage made of absorbent polyurethane foam for simultaneous protection of the inner and outer ankle.
- Askina® Heel consists of an absorbent polyurethane foam to reduce the pressure load
- Is equipped with a water vapour-permeable film that acts as a barrier against water and bacteria.

Dosage form
Heel dressing
Application
- Remove the film from the self-adhesive fastening strips and stick one strip onto each Askina® Heel.
- Carefully apply Askina® Heel to the heel area.
- Attach one end of the foam flap to the self-adhesive fastening strip and pull the flap to the other side of the heel. The flap can be opened and closed several times to ensure that the dressing fits securely and comfortably.
- Alternatively, Askina® Heel can be secured with a TS bandage.
Note: Askina® Heel is designed to cover the entire heel including the malleolus (ankle).
