Artiflex® padding bandages are soft, gentle on the skin, breathable and sterilisable. They protect sensitive areas of skin from pressure sores caused by plaster or cast material and ensure optimum comfort during the healing phase.
Padding bandages are designed to protect exposed areas from potential pressure sores caused by hard plaster or cast materials. Their padded material must also be of such a nature that the skin can withstand the treatment – which often lasts several weeks – without damage.
Plaster casts and synthetic support bandages padded with Artiflex® can be easily removed using plaster scissors or an oscillating saw. Artiflex® and Artiflex® Soft feature a soft surface texture and a crease-free fit. They are breathable, skin-friendly and supple.
