Padded bandages are designed to protect exposed areas from any pressure points caused by the hard plaster or cast material. Their bulky material must also be designed in such a way that the skin can withstand the treatment, which often lasts several weeks, without damage
Plaster casts and synthetic support bandages padded with Artiflex® can be easily removed with plaster scissors or an oscillating saw. Artiflex® and Artiflex® Soft have a soft surface structure and a crease-free fit. They are permeable to air, kind to the skin and supple.
