ARONTA® tablets have been specially developed for the dietary treatment of chronic recurrent anterior uveitis. The curcumin contained in ARONTA® tablets has an anti-inflammatory effect.

Curcumin has been known for thousands of years intraditional Indian medicine for its soothing effect on inflammation. Curcumin is known to have antimicrobial and antiviral properties and is an effective antioxidant that binds harmful free radicals.

A study1 has shown that the intake of curcumin can favourably influence the course of anterior uveitis and, above all, significantly reduce the occurrence of new inflammations.

However, this requires the intake of very large quantities of curcumin, as our intestines have difficulty absorbing this spice. As we usually only consume turmeric as a spice, our body does not get a sufficient amount of curcumin from food. It is therefore advisable to take curcumin in a special, more bioavailable formulation such as ARONTA®.

ARONTA® tablets contain a patented curcumin-phospholipid complex that is particularly well absorbed by the body. It is highly water-soluble and can therefore be absorbed into the body in large quantities in the intestine.

How to use
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, regular intake of two tablets of ARONTA 600 mg daily is recommended for chronic recurrent anterior uveitis for at least one year. The tablets can either be taken together or one in the morning and one in the evening.

  • One capsule of Aronta 600 mg contains 600 mg curcumin-phospholipid complex.
