Calcium L-ascorbate (Ester C®) (51.1%), sodium ascorbate (30.3%), gelatine, citrus extract (4.5%), anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids.

Properties:

Vitamin C 500 mg capsules contain stomach-friendly, buffered vitamin C derived from sodium ascorbate, as well as Ester C® vitamin. Ester C® vitamin is an optimised form of vitamin C (US Patent No. 4,822,816).
Ester C® is pH-neutral and therefore very well tolerated. It is absorbed more quickly and effectively, remains in the body for longer and is excreted more slowly in the urine than conventional vitamin C.
Vitamin C 500 mg capsules thus gently support the normal functioning of the immune and nervous systems and help reduce tiredness.

Proper collagen formation is important for the function of blood vessels, the skin, teeth and gums. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation.

The effect of vitamin C is supported by bioflavonoids from citrus extract. Bioflavonoids are classified as ‘secondary plant compounds’. These vital substances protect polyunsaturated fatty acids from oxidation and are also natural vitamin enhancers. They can regenerate other antioxidants such as vitamin C and vitamin E, thereby enhancing their effectiveness.
