Apozema® Ischias Rhus toxicodendron complex No. 20 drops are a homeopathic medicinal speciality for sciatica pain, rheumatic joint and muscle pain, as well as back and nerve pain.

Homeopathy is a regulatory therapy for acute and chronic illnesses. APOZEMA Ischias Rhus toxicodendron complex No. 20 drops are a combination remedy made up of the following individual homeopathic remedies, whose medicinal pictures complement each other.

Indications

The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. The following indications are authorised for this medicinal product:

• Sciatic pain, rheumatic joint and muscle pain, as well as back and nerve pain.

The use of this homeopathic medicinal product in these indications is based exclusively on homeopathic experience. In severe forms of these diseases, clinically proven therapy is indicated. This medicine is used in adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age. If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

Properties of the ingredients

• Rhus toxicodendron (poison ivy): Direction of action is the musculoskeletal system. Pain in the neck, shoulders and back, which gradually improves with movement, and a feeling of stiffness in the spine at rest. The modality of improvement in warmth is typical.
• Aconitum (aconite or aconite) is used for inflammatory or painful nervous disorders, which also corresponds to the remedy picture.
• Ammonium carbonicum (staghorn salt) is a constitutional remedy for exhausted, tired, overweight patients with sciatic pain, which intensifies when coughing and in cold weather. Also for rheumatic muscle and joint pain.
• Arsenicum album (white arsenic) is a constitutional remedy for the nervous system. The remedy picture includes inflammatory processes, neuralgic headaches and aching limbs.
• Bryonia (red-berried fence or devil's beet): The homeopathic remedy picture includes rheumatic pain, pulling, tearing pain in the muscles all over the body. Movement brings partial improvement. The joints are swollen.
• Colocynthis (coloquinte) has a broad spectrum of homeopathic use, including in the area of nerves.
• Gnaphalium (dysentery or woollen herb) acts on the peripheral nervous system as well as the musculoskeletal system. The medicinal picture of Gnaphalium includes pain in the arms and legs, severe pain in the sciatic nerve and its branches as well as numbness.
• Mandragora ex herba (mandrake or meerkat): Sciatic pain is the drug picture.
• Nux vomica (nux vomica) is a widely used homeopathic remedy. One of the directions of action is the musculoskeletal system with the remedy picture of nocturnal low back pain.
• Sulfur (sulphur blossom) is used as a remedy for rheumatic complaints, among other things, and the indications are the musculoskeletal system.

Directions for use

• Adolescents from 12 years of age and adults: At the onset of symptoms 21 drops every half hour to hour max. 8 times a day, up to 4 times a day at the onset of improvement.
• Children from 6 to 12 years: At the onset of symptoms, 7 drops diluted in a little water half-hourly to hourly max. 6 times a day, up to 3 times a day at the onset of improvement.
• Method of administration: Oral use. Spread drops on the surrounding oral mucosa with the tongue.
• Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

• The other ingredients are: Ethanol 96% (alcohol), purified water.
• Total ethanol content approx. 43% by weight, 1 g = approx. 49 drops.
