Apozema® Hypertension Crataegus complex No. 10 drops are a homeopathic medicinal speciality to support existing treatment of high blood pressure.

Indications

The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. The following indication is authorised for this medicinal product:

• To support existing treatment of high blood pressure.

The use of this homeopathic medicinal product in the named indications is based exclusively on homeopathic experience. In severe forms of these diseases, clinically proven therapy is indicated. This medicinal product is used in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over.

Properties of the ingredients

• Crataegus (hawthorn) is a classic cardiac remedy with cardiovascular and blood pressure regulating effects. The medicinal picture shows an irregular pulse, chest tightness and a feeling of pressure on the heart.
• Arnica (mountain arnica) acts on the venous vascular system. Arnica is also suitable for arterial circulatory disorders. The remedy picture shows noises in the ears, dizziness.
• Aurum chloratum natronatum (gold chloride-gold sodium) is a remedy for angina pectoris and an increase in blood pressure due to functional disorders of the nervous system.
• Barium iodatum (barium iodide) acts on the arterial and cerebral vascular system with the symptoms of hypertension and cerebral sclerosis. This results in dizziness and memory impairment.
• Glonoinum (nitroglycerine) affects the central nervous system as well as the heart. Palpitations with shortness of breath and a rush of blood to the heart characterise part of the medicinal picture.
• Scilla (sea onion) is an important remedy for circulatory problems, irregular pulse and old-age heart. Scilla is also used in homeopathy as a diuretic for high blood pressure. Ice-cold hands with internal heat are typical.
• Secale cornutum (ergot) acts, among other things, on the arterial vascular system with circulatory disorders.
• Viscum album (mistletoe) is used homeopathically for strongly fluctuating blood pressure. Symptoms such as dizziness and headaches are also part of the remedy picture.

• Adolescents from the age of 12 and adults: 21 drops up to 4 times a day throughout the day.
• Route of administration: Oral use. Spread the drops on the surrounding oral mucosa with the tongue or take diluted with a little water. If the symptoms improve, reduce the frequency of use.
• Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

• The other ingredients are: Ethanol 96% (alcohol), purified water.
• Total ethanol content approx. 43% by weight, 1 g = approx. 49 drops.
