Apozema® Appetite Abrotanum complex No. 4 drops are a homeopathic medicinal speciality for the treatment of appetite disorders in children and adults, as well as for digestive disorders and stomach and intestinal complaints.

Homeopathy is a regulatory therapy for acute and chronic illnesses. APOZEMA Appetite Abrotanum complex No. 4 drops are a homeopathic combination remedy made up of various individual homeopathic remedies whose medicinal pictures complement each other.

Indications

The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. The following indications are authorised for this medicinal product:

• To stimulate the appetite, for loss of appetite and during convalescence
• Digestive disorders with symptoms such as diarrhoea, bloating and flatulence.

Properties of the ingredients

• Abrotanum (boar's rue) acts, among other things, on the stomach and intestines. The symptoms of the remedy are a feeling of heaviness in the stomach, sometimes accompanied by alternating diarrhoea and constipation. This results in emaciation and weakness.
• Calcium phosphoricum (calcium hydrogen phosphate) is a constitutional remedy for appetite disorders and states of exhaustion. Emaciation and rapid mental and physical exhaustion are at the centre of the remedy picture.
• Ceanothus americanus (seckel flower) has a remedy picture of weight loss, loss of appetite and craving for sour foods. Colchicum (autumn crocus) is used for gastrointestinal complaints in addition to the main indication of joint complaints.
• Condurango (condurango tree, vulture plant) is a bitter remedy with an effect on the gastrointestinal tract. The drug picture shows, among other things, stomach pain with a feeling of fullness without the influence of certain foods.
• Lycopodium (lycopodium) has a broad medicinal picture, ranging from disorders of the hepatobiliary system and digestive disorders to metabolic disorders and diseases of old age.

Directions for use

• Adolescents from 12 years of age and adults: At the onset of symptoms 21 drops every half hour to hour max. 8 times a day, up to 4 times a day at the onset of improvement.
• Children from 6 to 12 years: At the onset of symptoms 7 drops diluted in a little water half-hourly to hourly max. 6 times a day, at the onset of improvement up to 3 times a day.
• Children from 3 to 6 years: At the onset of symptoms, 7 drops diluted in a little water max. 3 times a day, with the onset of improvement up to 2 times a day.
• Method of administration: Oral use. Apply to the surrounding oral mucosa with the tongue and reduce the frequency of use as the symptoms improve.
• Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

• The active ingredients are: 100 g (corresponding to 107.5 ml) contain: Artemisa abrotanum Dil. D4 2 g; Calcium phosphoricum Dil. D8 2 g; Ceanothus americanus Dil. D4 2 g; Colchicum autumnale Dil. D9 2 g; Marsdenia cundurango Dil. D4 2 g and Lycopodium clavatum Dil D6 2 g.
• The other ingredients are: Ethanol 96% (alcohol), purified water.
• Total ethanol content approx. 43% by weight, 1 g = approx. 49 drops.
