Anthozym Petrasch Tonic Alcohol-free is a dietary supplement with beetroot extract, dextrorotatory lactic acid, minerals and vitamins.
ANTHOZYM is a finely balanced system of ingredients that complement and support each other in their effect.
- Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin.
- Vitamin B12 contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
- Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Effect of the ingredients
Beetroot
Beetroot is a particularly nutritious and healthy vegetable. The red colourings (betacyans and betalains) are natural antioxidants. They are thought to be responsible for the many positive effects of beetroot.
A number of studies show positive effects of beetroot in particular:
- Cyclists who had consumed beetroot juice covered a distance of 4 km 11 seconds faster than a comparison group reported a study by the University of Exeter in the Ärztezeitung.
- A meta-study by Florida State University concludes: "Most studies have shown that beetroot juice or its components increase the number of repetitions and strength and prolong the time to exhaustion.
- A meta-study comparing 16 studies found a significant antihypertensive effect of beetroot and inorganic nitrates.
Lactic acid
- Lactic acid is a fruit acid. From a chemical point of view, lactic acid has a dextrorotatory and a levorotatory form. The dextrorotatory lactic acid (RMS) has positive and desirable properties. RMS is a central component of the ANTHOZYM active ingredient system, but RMS is also available in its pure form as a food supplement in drop and capsule form and as a soothing liniment to improve skin balance.
Iron
- Iron is an essential trace element, especially for haematopoiesis. In ANTHOZYM, iron is present as iron L(+)-lactate. This is produced in a separate process with the help of RMS. The vitamin C present in ANTHOZYM also improves iron absorption. Iron contributes to the normal function of the immune system and also to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Iron also contributes to normal oxygen transport in the body and to the normal formation of red blood cells.
Vitamin C
- Vitamin C is an essential vitamin for humans, which is involved in many important life processes. Vitamin C can improve the absorption of iron and thus counteract a possible iron deficiency. This can improve the oxygen transport capacity of the blood.
Vitamin B12
- Vitamin B12 contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and to the normal function of the nervous system.
Magnesium
- Magnesium contributes to normal energy metabolism. It also contributes to normal muscle function, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to the normal function of the nervous system.
Potassium
- Potassium plays an important role in the regulation of the water and electrolyte balance of the cell and contributes to the maintenance of normal blood pressure.

Directions
- 1 x daily after a meal 30 ml (=1 measuring cup).
- Advice: Start with half the recommended daily dose (half a measuring cup, 15 ml) and observe your body over 2-3 days. If you do not feel any negative effects, increase to the normal recommended daily dose (30 ml).
