Allpresan® Derma med HYDRO INTENSIVE CARE Repair Foam Cream moisturises, repairs the skin barrier and protects against further dehydration for dry, rough skin.

Dry and rough skin

Dry and rough skin is a widespread skin problem characterised by a lack of moisture and lipids. This deficiency causes the skin to lose its elasticity and suppleness. As a result, the skin can become rough, flaky and cracked. These skin conditions are not only unpleasant, but can also lead to further skin problems such as inflammation and infection, as the protective function of the skin barrier is impaired.

The skin barrier, which normally prevents moisture from escaping from the skin and harmful substances from penetrating, can be weakened by various factors. These include environmental influences such as cold, wind and dry air, but also frequent washing and contact with aggressive cleaning agents. If the skin barrier is damaged, gaps appear in the skin's lipid film. These gaps cause moisture to be lost and the skin to become even drier.

Allpresan Derma med HYDRO INTENSIVE CARE Repair Foam Cream has been specially developed to provide dry and rough skin with intensive lipids and moisture and to bring about a lasting improvement in the skin's condition. It moisturises deeply, repairs the skin barrier and protects against further dehydration.

This foam cream is particularly suitable for use all over the body and offers a comprehensive solution for skin that lacks elasticity and suppleness. It contains biomimetic lipids that have been proven to close the gaps in the lipid film of dry skin. The skin barrier is repaired, thus counteracting further moisture loss.

Active ingredients

• Biomimetic lipids: Skin-related lipids have similar structural properties to the lipids found in the skin. Like the natural barrier lipids, they arrange themselves in the typical, very compact lipid bilayers. As a result, they fit into the gaps in the lipid film of dry skin like perfectly fitting puzzle pieces and can thus repair the skin barrier.
• Panthenol: Dexpanthenol (INCI: PANTHENOL) is the precursor of a B vitamin and is also known as provitamin B5. Panthenol has a soothing and moisturising effect on the skin and supports the wound healing process. It is often used to treat skin and mucous membranes and to treat superficial wounds.
• 8 % urea: 8 % urea provides intensive moisturisation and is therefore ideal for the daily care of stressed skin areas such as hands, feet or elbows.

How to use

Ideally, Allpresan Repair Foam Cream should be applied twice daily (morning and evening) or as required to very dry, rough areas of skin in order to optimise skin care. Thanks to Allpresan Skin Repair Technology, the foam cream is particularly economical - a small amount is sufficient for larger areas of skin. Allpresan Repair Foam Cream can be applied very gently, is quickly absorbed and is non-greasy, so that clothing can be put on again straight away. The product is only suitable for external use. Please shake the foam cream can well before use and hold it upright when taking it out. Before using for the first time, you should remove the tamper-evident seal on the back of the foam head.
