Ajona is a medicinal toothpaste concentrate for the daily, all-round care of teeth, gums and the tongue. The Ajona formula, which has been tried and tested for over seven decades – and has always been free from titanium dioxide – is based on a four-stage mechanism of action:

1. Cleaning plaque from the teeth
2. Neutralisation
3. Antibacterial action
4. Remineralisation of the teeth

You can feel and taste the effects even whilst brushing. The result: healthy, clean teeth, strong gums, fresh breath and a long-lasting, very pleasant freshness in the mouth.

1. Cleaning – Ajona’s cleaning action is particularly gentle and thorough thanks to its soft abrasive particles, as demonstrated by recent clinical studies (dermatest 11/21). The RDA value* (Relative Dentin Abrasion), which indicates the degree of abrasion to the tooth structure caused by brushing, is a very low 30 for Ajona. Ajona is therefore also ideally suited for sensitive, exposed tooth necks.
2. pH neutralisation – Ajona helps to neutralise acids in the mouth.
3. Antibacterial effect – All common tooth and gum problems are caused by harmful bacteria. These bacteria release metabolic by-products that attack tooth structure, irritate and inflame the gums, and cause bad breath. Ajona is also ideal for cleaning the tongue. Around 80 per cent of the bacteria in the entire mouth are found here. Natural, anti-inflammatory ingredients, such as bisabolol, eucalyptol, thymol, Mentha viridis and other essential oils, help to prevent gum inflammation, alleviate existing inflammation and promote gum regeneration.
4. Remineralisation – Thanks to its high calcium and phosphate content, Ajona promotes the remineralisation of teeth and strengthens tooth structure.

Directions for use

• Please use Ajona at least twice a day and brush your teeth for around three minutes to allow the high-quality, nourishing ingredients to take full effect. Ajona is a medicinal toothpaste concentrate and lasts about five times as long as normal toothpaste. Please use sparingly! A lentil-sized amount is sufficient – ideal for use with electric toothbrushes.
• Notes: Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Contains menthol, eucalyptol and thymol. Ajona’s formula does not contain titanium dioxide. Ajona only reaches its full smoothness at room temperature and should not normally be stored above 35°C. If it has become too cold before use, please leave it at room temperature for a while. The tube should be resealed immediately after each use to prevent the toothpaste from drying out.
