Aflubin cough drops

Indications:

- Acute forms of cough and dry irritating cough
- To support mucus clearance in the case of thick bronchial secretions

This is how AFLUBIN® cough drops help you:

- They have an anti-inflammatory effect and relieve cough irritation,
- promote expectoration,
- make it much easier to cough up secretions,
- have an antispasmodic effect,
- lead to a significant reduction in the irritating cough and
- bronchial secretions can be coughed up more easily

Composition:

Active ingredients: 100ml contain: Eucalyptus globulus D1 2ml, Atropa belladonna D6 10ml, Bryonia cretica D6 10ml, Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni D12 10ml
Other ingredients: Ethanol (alcohol), purified water
1ml = approx. 25 drops. Contains 54 % alcohol by weight

Ingredients and possible effects/areas of application:

Eucalyptus globulus: Irritable cough and bronchial catarrh with strong mucus expectoration and thick or purulent secretions, flu-like infections with colds, headaches and sore throats.
Atropa belladonna: spasmodic and dry coughing fits, barking cough with tickling in the windpipe, laryngeal and bronchial catarrh with hoarseness and soreness
Bryonia cretica: Dry, spasmodic irritating cough with viscous mucus in the windpipe, adjunctive therapy for bronchitis, pneumonia and pleurisy
Phosphorus: Dry cough with pain in the larynx and hoarseness, adjunctive therapy for bronchitis, pneumonia and bronchial asthma
Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni: Cough with chest pain, mucopurulent cough with a feeling of soreness in the throat and windpipe, worsening at night

Dosage:

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, always take the drops exactly as directed in the package leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not completely sure.
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: take 10 drops 3 times a day.
Children and infants from 1 year: take 5 drops 3 times a day.

Initially take 10 drops (adults and adolescents) or 5 drops (children from 1 year of age) every half hour to hour (maximum 8 times daily). As the condition begins to improve, the recommended dosage should be reduced. Aflubin cough drops should be taken up to 30 minutes before eating or 1 hour after eating. Aflubin cough drops can be taken pure or diluted in a little water, always dilute for children. Keep in the mouth for a few seconds as the active ingredients are absorbed through the oral mucosa. The use of Aflubin cough drops in children under 2 years of age is not recommended as there is insufficient data available.
