Advantage® for dogs 10 - 25 kg 250 mg solution to be dripped onto the skin is a veterinary medicinal product for the prevention and treatment of flea infestation and for the treatment of hair lice infestation (Trichodectes canis) in dogs.

Indications

• For the prevention and treatment of flea infestations and for the treatment of hair lice infestations (Trichodectes canis) in dogs.
• The fleas on the dog are killed within 24 hours of using Advantage.
• The single treatment is effective against fleas for 4 weeks. Once diagnosed by the vet, the veterinary medicine can be used as part of the treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis (flea allergy dermatitis, FAD).

Directions for use

Dosage: Dogs 10 to 25 kg body weight (bw): 1 x 2.5 ml - at least 10 imidacloprid (mg/kg bw).

Application in dogs:

1. Remove the pipette from the pack. With the patient in an upright position, unscrew and remove the cap.
2. Use the inverted cap to open the seal.
3. To ensure easy application, your dog should be standing.
4. Part your dog's hair between the shoulder blades until you can see the skin.
5. Now press the pipette several times to empty the contents completely onto the skin. Avoid contact with your dog's eyes or mouth.
6. After use, wrap the pipette in some paper, dispose of it in the household waste and wash your hands.

Ingredients

• One pipette contains: Advantage 40 mg solution for dripping onto the skin for dogs (≥ 10 < 25 kg)): 2.5 ml - Imidacloprid 250 mg, E321 2.5 mg.
• Active substance(s): 10 % (100 mg/ml) imidacloprid.
• Other ingredients: 0.1% (1 mg/ml) butylhydroxytoluene (E321) benzyl alcohol.
