Advantage® 80 mg solution for instillation for cats and ornamental rabbits from 4kg, 4 ST

Advantage 80 mg solution to be dripped onto the skin for large cats and large ornamental rabbits weighing 4 kg or more is a veterinary medicinal product for the prevention and treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) in cats and for the treatment of flea infestations in ornamental rabbits.

The fleas on the animal are killed within one day of treatment. The single treatment is effective against fleas in cats for 3 to 4 weeks and in ornamental rabbits for up to a week 3. The veterinary medicine can be used as part of a treatment plan to control flea allergy dermatitis (flea allergy dermatitis, FAD), provided it has been previously diagnosed by a veterinarian.

Directions for use

• This veterinary medicinal product may only be applied externally and should not be given to the animal. The weight of the animals to be treated should be determined as accurately as possible before use.
• Method of administration: Remove one pipette from the pack. Hold the pipette vertically upwards, twist the cap and pull it off. Use the inverted cap to remove the pipette seal.

Use in cats:

1. Remove the pipette from the pack, hold it upright and unscrew and remove the sealing cap.
2. The inverted cap can be used to open the seal.
3. It is best for your cat to stand when applying the product.
4. Part your cat's hair in the neck area until you can see the skin.
5. Now press the pipette several times to apply the contents to your cat's skin. Avoid contact with your cat's eyes or mouth.
6. After use, wrap the pipette in some paper and dispose of it in the household waste and wash your hands.

Use in rabbits:

1. Remove the pipette from the pack and hold it upright. Then unscrew and remove the sealing cap.
2. The inverted lid can be used to open the seal.
3. Part the animal's fur at the back of the head (neck) so that the skin is visible.
4. Place the pipette tip on the skin and press the pipette several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin.
5. Hold the pipette vertically downwards. Avoid contact with your pet's eyes or mouth.
6. After use, wrap the pipette in some paper and dispose of it in the household waste and wash your hands.
